A5 Japanese Wagyu Filet

This is an A5 Wagyu Filet Mignon, BMS 12, essentially steak art. I don’t think you’ll ever find a better (non aged) steak. I have yet to meet someone one who doesn’t absolutely love this steak. People that hate filets, LOVE this filet. People who don’t like “fatty” steaks, LOVE this steak.

Though it is a filet, which is classically known as a “boring” and “bland” cut, this one is anything but boring or bland. Because it’s true Japanese Wagyu, it’s loaded with marbling (intramuscular fat). It not only melts, but truly explodes in your mouth. Not bad for a filet.

Some people don’t like A5 Japanese Wagyu because it’s overly rich. And while this one certainly is still rich for a filet, it’s not as overwhelming as an A5 Japanese Wagyu Strip or Ribeye - it’s far more balanced. You really get the best of every world with this steak. No other steak really compares to it.
